NEXT 25 DISTIS: AAROHI INFOTECH

One of the
leading sub-distributors for HP consumer range of notebooks and
printer, and based in Ghaziabad, Aarohi started facing profitability
issue with its range of HP products. The company revenues declined
marginally in FY11; subsequently its Delhi based sister concern
Aadhar Infotech gave an impetus to replicate its earlier success in
the NCR region. Currently, it is one of the wellknown distributors in
western UP, with close to 300 resellers under its belt. In order to
improve the bottomline, the company upped the ante on other vendors
like Acer, Samsung, and Sony. This augured well for Aarohi as its
dependency on HP started witnessing a decline over the year.

Nevertheless, HP
still contributed 75% to its revenue followed by Acer and Sony at 5%
each and rest from Samsung. In FY12, the company intends to diversify
into retail business and by the end of the current year; it will open
its first retail store in Ghaziabad.
