This Bengaluru
based Apple retailer and distributor grew by 62% in FY11.
Incidentally Ample did 100% business from South India. Out of this,
70% of the revenue came from selling Apple products and the rest 30%
providing solutions in printing, imaging, computing, networking,
connectivity, etc. Out of the total Apple contribution, 45% came from
retail platform under the name 'Imagine' selling Apple products.
The company recently opened 2 retail showrooms, 1 in Chennai and
other in Bengaluru, counting to 5 showrooms in total. It plans to
open 5 more showrooms by the end of September 2012. The company is
shortly coming up with a branch in Mumbai and Delhi. The rest 55%
came from corporate sales, including top-notch companiesnamely
Google, Amazon, Cisco, and Infosys. The company will make iPhone 4
5ios available to customers by around December, this year.
