Majorly dealing
with Intel, Suntronic Systems crossed the anticipated Rs 100 crore
revenue mark last FY signalling the rise of its government solutions
business. Majorly into the distribution segment with Rs 86.25 crore
coming in from distribution alone, Suntronic's foray into the
government sector helped it bag major solution deals in the
government segment. As Intel helped the company generate an overall
business of atleast Rs 34.5 crore, Seagate and Western Digital

amplified
another Rs 23 crore; these 2 businesses accounted for the major chunk
of the revenue. The situation with WD improved drastically for the
company after the acquisition of Hitachi hard drive unit by the
former. With 500 channel partners in its loop in the east, last year,
Suntronic focussed over its Ranchi branch with the 'upcountry
opportunity' factor playing a decisive role in generating the 22%
growth figure. This FY, the company is keen in maintaining its status
quo position in terms of channel reach as well is product mix.
