NEXT 25 SPs: ORIGIN ITFS

A new COO in
place paid off for Origin as its total income increased by 18% in FY11,
the
majority of it coming on the back of the last 2 stupendous quarters.
With 500 IT support staff working across 7 branches in the country,
Origin bagged 50 big customers like Citi Bank, TATA, ELCOT, Indian
Bank, Servion and Hexaware, etc. Origin is also a premium partner for
key companies like IBM, HP, Lenovo, Dell, Xerox, Microsoft, D-Link
and Dax, etc. It also stands as the authorized service provider for
IBM, Acer, HP, Lenovo and Xerox. In the forthcoming fiscal, Origin is
planning to focus on security and surveillance through CCTV and
bio-metric cards, apart from plans to foray aggressively into the
print services and audio-video integration. With a new COO taken
charge, the biggest challenge faced by the organization was to
re-structure the team and drive towards the path of success.
Simultaneously, equal significance was also given to maintain the
R&D
team for software services. In the days ahead, Origin is planning to
increase its sales and marketing.
