Revenues for
Printlink Computer and Communication (PCC) more or less stagnated, as
the company registered a meager `2 crore overall increase in the
gross revenue. This came from the fact that major government
implementations were on the closing stage and the company focussed
more over its topline. The decision to go ahead with nearly all major
brands in the IT segment accounted for a nominal bottomline for the
company as government projects fell to 8% of its gross revenue; a
steep dip compared to FY09, when the same vertical accounted for
nearly 43% of the total turnover. Dell remained PCC's priority with
Rs 30 crore contribution, followed by IBM servers and storage at `8
crore. Other brands like Cyberoam, Cisco and Trend Micro also
contributed to the security vertical earnings. Even then, the
company's forte remained networking and data center
implementations, as the company deployed 25 projects across Odisha
with a landmark deal with OCAC in the networking space.
