NEXT 25 SPs: SHEELTRON DIGIUTAL SYSTEMS

The year saw
a complete transformation of the company started in 1990 but was
dormant
for 19 years. Sheeltron Digital Systems started to work with full force
in
the year 2010 and did a minimal business of around Rs 2 crore, but
marked an
astonishing growth of 26 times the  revenue in FY10 to Rs 52 crore
in FY11.
One—third of the company's revenue come from trading and Kerala
accounts 90% of the
trading  business possessing for the branches in Kerala. Another
onethird is generated
from back-to-back services, like education sector, corporate,
etc. Business from
stock lots and excess inventory gives the rest of the revenue. It
plans to see a
remarkable growth in education sector by  the end of 2012. The
company
has a direct tie-up with IBM, Lenovo and Dell which contributes its
major share
of the revenue. Though  Dell issued a circular against this
company
for parallel
imports of its products but it seems it was misconceived, as
Sheeltron does a very  good
business from Dell.
