annual Asia Pacific User & Partner Conference-Interactions
2011, from July 4-7, 2011 at Hotel Hilton Sanya Resort and Spa,
China. The event saw more than 400 participants, including business
partners, customers and representatives from leading government and
public safety organizations, telecommunications services providers,
banking and financial organizations across APAC. The platform offered
a good networking opportunities to NICE partners and customers to
share their business achievements, challenges and best practices. The
3-day long event provided insight about the upcoming solutions and
new directions given to its partners and customers. Moreover, Nice
awarded them with excellence awards and certifications.

on the first day of the event Raghav Sahgal, president, Nice Asia
Pacific said, “Our APAC region has been the fastest growing market
for Nice. The company has witnessed 30% growth across APAC. Now the
company's vision is to provide domain specific solutions and
building capabilities and expertise of its business partners. The
company is also investing in providing local support infrastructure.
Today, the company holds large key accounts in diversified verticals
including BFSI, telecom, transportation, government and many more.”

India story for Nice has been growing rapidly. Talking specific plans
for India market, Andy Rutherford, VP, sales, Nice APAC said, “NICE
India is continually growing its customer base and expanding the
relationships in India. It is currently one of the key players in the
Indian BPO and banking industry with 20 out of the top 25 BPO's and
70% of Indian banks as NICE customers. In addition, 2 out of the Top
3 telcos use Nice solutions.” The security and intelligence
division has
also established a strong presence in the country by delivering some
of the most advanced security installations at Parliament House and
the Command and Control Center for Delhi Police, Commonwealth Games
besides other city surveillance and DMRC projects. Besides, the
company has started seeing large takers of its work flow management
solution as well.

houses APAC support center which runs to meet the needs of customers
throughout Asia Pacific region. The company is also ramping up the
working hours of Bengaluru-based regional technical support center
from 18 hours to 24x7. Moreover, the company is opening office in
Mumbai, so that it can locally support the customers and partners.

Nice products for the last 9 years, and one of the awardee at the
conference, “We have multiple delivery centers in
the US and India. And we are using Nice's product as complimentary
for the purpose of for voice recording, sample and audits and
performance management etc. We have implemented solutions for more
than 50 clients in various geographies across various verticals
including insurance, BFS, and telecom.” Jitendra Hariramani,
associate VP, sales, AGC Networks said, “Interactions 2011 provided us
a first-hand look at Nice's product and solution road
map, premiering demon strations of the Nice solution for successfully
tackling the challenges of contact center operational efficiency,
cross-channel interactions management and the company's advanced
