Omnitech Infosolutions : A Focused Approach

Omnitech Infosolutions has been on the growth path for the past few fiscals
and 2007-08 was no different with the company registering 69 percent growth over
the previous fiscal. It posted a turnover of Rs 132 crore in 2007-08, up from Rs
78 crore in the previous year.

Omnitech recently set-up a third party disaster recovery center in Navi
Mumbai. Named Omnicenter 1. In the last fiscal, it focused on providing business
continuity services. The company also bagged Rs 40 crore worth contracts for
providing business availability services from banking, financial service and
insurance (BFSI), pharma and entertainment customers. It tied up with Almutawa
to promote OmniGulf Technologies in Bahrain and later set-up Bahrain's first
managed disaster recovery center, which caters to the BFSI sector there. It got
into another tie-up with a Netherland-based software product developer in the
car automotive space to provide helpdesk support services from its Indian
center.
