Omnitech's DR center to be up by year-end

Omnitech InfoSolutions announced that its disaster-recovery (DR) center in
Mhape will be up by November-end. Atul Hemnani, MD, Omnitech InfoSolutions said,
"This center would offer world-class technologies, tools and facilities like
datacenter, network operations center (NOC), recovery center and training rooms,
etc for seamless DR operations."

Omnitech plans to open another DR facility elsewhere in India shortly. It
recently held a joint conference with Business Continuity Management Institute (BCMI)
and announced its certification courses for business continuity professionals in
India.

As many as 17 percent of the respondents reported that their organizations do
not have business continuity plans according to a recent Indian Business
Continuity Survey conducted by BCMI. With DR and business continuity management
gaining importance worldwide after 9/11, it is time for India to make its entry
into this arena. Now, with this DR center at Mhape, the company is all set for
this.
