Oracle has announced that Aditya Birla Retail, a part of Aditya Birla Group,
has selected Oracle Retail merchandising, planning and supply chain applications
to help drive its retail growth plans in the country. Aditya Birla Retail has
aggressive plans for the retail space and plans to set-up a number of formats
under the 'more' brand. Aditya Birla Retail chose Oracle Retail applications
over competing products including SAP. One of the key reasons for selecting
Oracle Retail applications is that they offer the flexibility to support
multiple store formats.
