To strengthen its Display solutions product portfolio, Panasonic launched its range of low end range of display solutions and portable projectors. Â The new range of products launched include Professional LED LCD display solutions, Plasma Interactive displays and Portable projectors. The verticals being targeted by our display products are retail, education, banking, healthcare, transportation and other commercial enterprises.
Speaking to The DQ Week, Vineet Mahajan, head, Display Products, Panasonic India, said " These new products are aimed at enterprises and are designed to deliver high quality results to cater to their creative output requirements. These interactive solutions based on the latest cutting edge technology, will not only enhance the audio-visual experience for users but also bring an acute change in the way information is currently managed and interpreted."
Commenting on the launch, Toru Hasegawa, divisional managing director, System Sales Division, Panasonic India said, "Panasonic has strengthened its focus on the B2B and B2G business since we believe that this industry in India has a high potential. Our aim is to make B2B to contribute significantly to Panasonic's overall revenue by 2015 and keeping in line with the same we are introducing new range of innovative products, manufactured in accordance with evolving needs of our customers, mainly in the security and surveillance systems, solutions products and energy solution."
"Panasonic has grown 200% in the last 3 years. In 2013, Panasonic grew to Rs 225 crore from Rs 170 crore with projectors constituting 60% to this revenue while Display contributing 40%. Panasonic claims to be #1 in value and #4 in volume business in the projector market with 22.4% and 11.9 % market share respectively, as per CMR reports.
Panasonic has launched three new lines of professional LED LCD displays from 55" to 80". Plasma range 42" to 103" and Professional Plasma ranges from 85" to 152"; this is the largest plasma in the world as claimed by Panasonic. The plasma interactive displays are available in the following sizes- 50, 65, 85 and 103 inch respectively and priced at Rs 1,30,000 to Rs 2,50,000/-. Panasonic has rolled out portable range of projectors - ultra short throw, short throw and a new portable range of 1 chip projectors.
Panasonic has over 165 exclusive brand shops pan India and more than 1000 unique service centers to provide one stop solution. Currently, Panasonic sells through 16 Regional Distributors and has about 500 channel partners. Panasonic has 30 branch offices and 84 Premier Partner Program outlets.
