PCDA committee re-elected

The Panipat Computer Dealer's Association (PCDA), which held its election on
December 28, 2007 saw its committee members being unanimous re-elected. The team
comprises Ajay Singla of Computer City as President, Sanjeev Sharma of Rite
Computers as Secretary, Mukesh Mangla of Manglasoft Solutions as Treasurer,
Rahul Kapoor from Digitech Computers as VP and Sandeep Bansal as Joint
Secretary.

PCDA has 25 members out of which five have been elected as executive members.
The election was held in two phases. The first phase was held on Dec 28, that
marked the election of President, Secretary and Treasurer, and the second phase
took place on Jan 4, that elected the names of Joint Secretary and VP.

The association has appointed Vishal Kapoor to head the Warranty and Service
Committee, Sunil Bajaj for the External Affairs Committee, Rajnish Kumar for
Service Coupon Committee, Vivek Mittal for Price Monitoring Committee and Vinay
Jagga for Payment Issue Committee.

The main focus of the association is to increase the number of dealers from
the current 25 to 40 members. Other critical issues include keeping a watch on
the coupon system for after-sale service to minimize the inconvenience due to
service issue for both customers as well as dealers. PCDA is also planning to
come out with a price policy for the IT dealers under which all the dealers in
Panipat would follow a standard pricing of the products.
