Persistent Systems unveils SaaS initiative for ISVs

Pune: Persistent Systems announced its Software as a Service (SaaS) enablement initiative for independent software vendors (ISVs). ISVs can leverage Persistent's SaaS Competency Center and Migration Services to migrate their applications onto the Oracle platform. The Oracle platform includes Oracle Database, Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle Enterprise Manager, and Oracle VM, an open and integrated set of technologies that allow ISVs to build, deploy and manage SaaS and cloud-based applications.

The company has established a dedicated SaaS Competency Center to provide the infrastructure for development and deployment of SaaS services. Based in Pune, India, the Persistent SaaS Competency Center focuses assessing product and feature fit for SaaS enablement, implementing and managing SaaS-based product offerings, including operational management and metering, leveraging its development framework for rapid deployment and creating a development ecosystem around the SaaS offering.
