New Delhi: Schemes have become a way of showing support in these trying times. Through various rewarding promotional offers, vendors are pledging their concern and support to their partners.
Philips has come up with one such scheme. The company has announced a scheme for its partners, under which points will be alloted on the purchase its PC products line. After accumulating a certain number of points, the partners will be rewarded with various prizes.
The highest prize is a four-day trip to Tashkent, Uzbekistan on the collection of 8765 points. Other prizes include a Philips hand mixer, Blackberry phone and an LCD TV.
“This is our way of telling the partners that we are with them in these trying times. We are trying to infuse some confidence in them through our endeavors,” said Sumit Chadha, Marketing Manager-Consumer Lifestyle, Philips.
Through this scheme the company aims to reach out to 120 partners, though the channel base of Philips spans to about 200-250 partners.
Talking about the plans for the future, Chadha said that the company is looking to offer their channel a better range of products.
“The channel should expect new product launches soon. We plan to launch more lifestyle products by Q3 of this year,” added Chadha.
In today's situation, there is a lot of animosity between vendors and partners but hese schemes will surely provide a boost to the channel community, who are struggling with the difficult economic times.
