Pitney Bowes launches 'Digital Franking Technology'

Franking' solutions to its customers across India. These solutions
will enable organizations to streamline the mailing process and
control their postal expenses to a considerable extent. The new
generation franking solutions from Pitney Bowes are especially
significant in today's business scenario as cost effectiveness and
the economics of operations have become the new mantra of cost
rationalization. The new 'Digital Franking' technology has been
launched under the proven DM platform which has been very successful
across the globe. The technology has recently been approved by

Pitney Bowes invented franking machines
90 years ago and is a well known leader across the globe in franking
Technology. There are more than 12,000 units of franking machines
already installed in India and the new 'Digital Franking' machines
are expected to change the way the office mailing is done currently
and will act like a Desktop Post Office. With the advent of digital,
besides cost savings, the users can create customized marketing
messages on the envelope to take advantage of the space available on

IntelliLink to support the Remote Model Franking System (RMFS)
requirement of India Post brings flexible, intelligent services to
help businesses communicate effectively and efficiently. Digital
Franking machines enable users to connect to the server for
downloading of funds, postal rate changes, software etc, all at the
comforts of sitting at the office desk.

The technology will also help the users
to stamp incoming mails and track department wise postal expenses.
