Plustek launches SmartOffice PS286

Plustek has announced the launch of SmartOffice PS286. Targeted at the front
office usage of the SMEs, hospitals, law firms, CPA firms, BFSI, education,
health care, government, hospitality industry, service centers etc, it is a
versatile and affordable duplex color scanner in the sheet-fed range. It is a
viable option for customers involved in high-volume documentation.

Using SmartOffice PS286, customers can scan the credentials and save them in
various file formats-PDF, Excel, Word, TXT, HTML, etc. The documents can also
be sent through e-mail from the machine complying with their process of
escalation.

Offers high-speed scanning, up to 25ppm in simplex or duplex mode and an
optical resolution of 600dpi. The 50-sheet automatic document tray accepts a
variety of documents from business card to legal papers. It is also specially
designed for plastic cards. The in-built TWAIN and Windows WIA drivers enable
the scanner to be compatible with virtually any imaging software (DMS/OMR
solution, etc).

The SmartOffice PS286 is called a smart scanner as it easily creates digital
documents and manages files created from the notes, receipts, financial records
and other documents.

It comes with pre-set nine customized functions for different scanning needs.
