JOB PROFILE: Nagpal manages a team of 35 experts in her company.
Earlier, DVS was involved in offering solutions to global markets, but now the
company has been focusing more on Indian retail market. The company offers its
service through partners across the country, and include hospitality, leisure,
industries, manufacturing etc. Headquartered in Gurgaon, DVS has also opened an
office in Bangladesh and has plans to move towards Middle East too.

BACKGROUND: Nagpal spent her life in London and Gurgaon. She completed
her Bachelor in Business Finance and Masters in Marketing from the London
University. She started her career with a bank and has worked with companies
like Merill Lynch and Barcalays in UK. After observing the increasing
competition and potential in the Indian market, she moved to Gurgaon six years
back. Though Nagpal always wanted to be an architect she followed her father's
Yashvir Nagpal footsteps instead and became a businesswoman. She also worked as
Director and Marketing Manager of Navision India, founded by her late father.
Nagpal is single and her mother and sisters stay in UK.

CHALLENGES: “Being a woman, I found more opportunities and never saw
any gender bias in my entire career,” Nagpal shared. She believes that there is
still a chunk of unearthed potential in her and she has a long way to go. She
further added, “Every person has huge potential and one cannot measure it.” She
is a stickler when it comes to responsibility and can't stand people who shy
away from their responsibility. “I am a straight forward person and do not
believe in double standards. I live by morality and have my principles intact,”
she proclaimed.

STRENGTHS: Commitment towards work and passion to perfect any art are
qualities that best define Nagpal's strengths. It is her commitment to sharpen
and prove her leadership qualities that compelled her to start a new venture.
Her professional attitude in the working area influences her team members to
keep up the high spirit. She wants to change the face of Indian retail industry
and aims to give it a new dimension. She interacts with channel partners,
clients, government bodies, research institutes, defense organizations and local
industry associations.

HOBBIES: In spite of being busy with her work, Nagpal makes sure she
engages herself in reading. She thoroughly enjoyed reading 'The Monk Who Sold
His Ferrari'. She also loves playing golf and driving cars whenever she is in a
mood to relax. When given a painting brush, she cherises sketching.

FUTURE PLANS: Nagpal is a workaholic by nature, which is evident from
her plans for the future — they are all work related. Nagpal wants to explore
the working potential of Indians, who are phenomenally hardworking as compared
to others. She has been involved in business globally and has come across all
sorts of markets. Nagpal wants to give recognition to people in India who have
immense knowledge and have great interest in science or art.
