'Power Asia' to become an annual feature

New Delhi: The 1st annual international power exhibition titled 'Power Asia'
witnessed a good number of footfalls, with visitors keen on delving deeper into
the variety of products, features and pricing. The fare held in Pragati Maidan,
Delhi from 14th -16th December saw visitors including dealers, government sector
personnel, consultants and end-users paying a visit.

Thirty-five power companies showcased the latest range of UPS, inverters,
stabilizers, solar panels and batteries among other products during the
exhibition. The 'Association of UPS manufacturers' supported the exhibition.
Close to eight UPS vendors participated in the fare and these included Uniline
Energy Systems, Microtek, Servokon Systems, Parker Power, Numeric Power Systems
and MGE Office Protection Systems.

Talking about the exhibition, R K Bansal, MD, Uniline Energy Systems and
General Secretary, Association of UPS & Power Conditioning System
Manufacturers, said that the response to the exhibition was good and that
dealers who came from across the NCR regions and places like Hyderabad, Mumbai
and Punjab, were keen on partnering with them. “Dealers have become even more
aware of the power conditioning systems and they wanted information about the
features and price of the various UPS products showcased. This aside they also
showed interest in partnering with us,” added Bansal

Uniline had showcased products like online UPS, Line interactive UPS and
inverters. Their solar inverters and solar panel received maximum queries from
the end-users.

According to Chander Dutt, Area sales executive of Microtek, “We received a
number of commercial enquiries from partners, while the end users were
inquisitive about solar inverters as they are easy to use and affordable.” He
further added that dealers wanted to garner more information about online UPS
and had shown interest in partnering for the same. Microtek also showcased its
online UPS, ranging from 1-30 KVA. The company gives a one-year on-site warranty
for the same.
