Prashanth G.J is Regional Director, South India for HDS

Hitachi Data Systems has announced the appointment of Prashanth G.J. as
Regional Director for its South India operations. Prashanth will be responsible
for providing regional sales direction and leadership, which are closely aligned
with Hitachi Data Systems' corporate and country business objectives.

Prashanth brings with him 14 years of experience in enterprise sales
management and Channel Management. As Regional Director, South India, he will
closely work with Natarajan Viswanathan, MD, India, Hitachi Data Systems. He
would be responsible in driving the growth and the expansion of the company's
revenue and market share in South India.

"Prashanth is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the IT
industry," said Natarajan, MD, India, Hitachi Data Systems. "His
experience and strategic leadership skills will strengthen Hitachi's ability to
build strategic relationships and deliver results to clients in the
region."

Prior to joining Hitachi Data Systems, Prashanth held the position of
Regional Sales Manager at NetApp. His experience also includes a term as
Enterprise Account Manager at HP and Manager Sales at HCL - handling channels.
By qualification, Prashanth is BE (Mechanical) from Bangalore University and MBA
from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management studies.
