PROGRESSIVE INFOTECH: Leveraging offshore prospects

Sensing great potential for Indian vendors in overseas market, Progressive
during the last financial year, set-up a Remote Infrastructure Management Center
at its Noida facility

During the year 2005-06 Progressive Infotech, taking clue from the popularity
of Indian vendors in overseas market, has expanded its operations significantly
in markets abroad. Apart from servicing indigenous enterprises at the same time
Progressive is also eyeing global companies for which it is aiming to make more
inroads into the US and European markets. Progressive has already begun offering
its offshore Remote Infrastructure Management (RIM) services through strategic
partnership with local partners. The company is expecting to execute more
offshore projects during this financial year.

Progressive recently started Remote Infrastructure Management Center (RIMC)
at its Noida facility, the pilot run of its RIM center started in December last
year while the commercial services started in May 2006 only. With its remote
infrastructure management facility in place, the system integrator has geared
itself to offer onsite as well as remote services to its clients.

Progressive recently tied-up with Avaya Global Connect as its system
integration partner.

Present at almost 80 locations across the country, Progressive intends to
scale up its operations and extend footprints at the remaining locations where
the company lacks proper representation, which according to the system
integrator's belief will allow its customers to enjoy a countrywide support
mechanism.

Adding yet another feather to Progressive's cap of achievements, the
company was awarded premier BS 15000 - 1: 2002 certification for its entire
service delivery and support by STQC IT Certification Services. Progressive is
now the first independent service provider in the domestic market and among the
few in the world to have gained the prestigious BS 15000 accreditation, the
ultimate benchmark for IT Service Management (ITSM). Besides that Progressive's
service Excellence Management System has now been accredited for three standards
namely ISO 9001:2000, BS15000 and ISO27001 for integrated quality assurance.
