Quadsel ties up with Siemens

Chennai-based system integrator, Quadsel Systems has tied up with Siemens
Software PLM for providing product lifecycle management software solutions (PLM).
"The demand for PLM solutions is growing in the market. Our deal with
Siemens is in the last stage and within a very short time we will do a PLM
implementation in Hyderabad after which we will get into Chennai," said
Girish Madhavan, CEO, Quadsel Systems. With the tie-up Quadsel hopes to provide
a complete range of services including PLM, servers and any other application
needed by the customers.

The company is also looking to get into the ERP implementation space soon.
"We are slowly getting to implement ERP and CRM solutions besides
developing our own solutions," said Madhavan. Very recently the company
entered the solutions space, by building their own 'Business Management
Solution' to become a pure-play solution provider.

Quadsel will target SMB customers and large enterprises for these
implementations. "Initially we want to tap the growing SMB market and then
after getting established in this segment we would like to move towards large
enterprises as we foresee a lot of opportunities in this implementation segment
every where," Madhavan said.

The Chennai company expects 20 percent to 30 percent of its revenue from this
implementation segment by the end of 2008. It has appointed around 15 people
especially for this ERP and CRM implementation and has trained them for almost
six months. The team includes programmers too. "We have chosen people with
engineering background, which is the minimum criteria for our requirement and
provided extensive training to them," Madhavan added.
