Quantum opens IDC in Hyderabad

Quantum announced the opening of its India development center
(IDC), an R&D facility that will augment its existing engineering resources and
aid in faster time-to-market of new disk, software and tape solutions. Quantum
expects to gain efficiencies and lower operational costs through round-the-clock
productivity and diversified skill-sets.Located in the Ascendas IT Park in
Hi-Tech City, the center has a dozen employees at present and more engineers are
being recruited.
