Quantus to market Maxtor products in India

Maxtor Corporation has announced the appointment of Quantus Infoways Pvt Ltd as its newest distributor in India. Quantus, the Indian counterpart of
Singapore-based distributor Transtek, will market Maxtor's complete range of products in India.

According to the press release, the association will strengthen Maxtor's Indian distribution network, which includes Ingram
Micro, eSys, Almasa and newly appointed Quantus. Quantus recently launched operations in India with
offices in Delhi and Bangalore and plans to add four offices in other regions.

"Maxtor is growing at an exponential rate in India", said Maxtor India subcontinent sales manager Yogesh Kamat. "Quantus has good experience in the
HDD market. The Quantus team in India has worked with Maxtor in the past and understands the objectives of the company. The synergy between both
