Quick Heal releases new product line

Quick Heal Technologies recently launched its Quick Heal 2008 product line
that includes Anti-Virus plus 2008 and Total Security 2008 in Pune. The PC
security solutions cater to individual users as well as small and medium
businesses using Microsoft Windows as operating system. It is designed to
protect users against the latest on-line threats optimized scan engine for
faster detections. The update mechanism and definition file formats are changed
to support smaller and faster updates.

Anti-Virus Plus 2008 includes three-in-one protection that consists of
anti-virus, anti-spyware, that blocks any spyware before it is installed in the
PC and firewall, that prevents the PC getting hacked or prevents it from
Internet-based attacks.

Total Security 2008 includes features like anti-phishing toolbar and
PC2Mobile scan, through which users can scan mobile phones, PDAs and smart
phones by connecting it to the PC or laptop using Bluetooth or USB cable. It is
a nine-in-one protection for PC that includes anti-virus, anti-spyware,
firewall, anti-spam, anti-phishing, anti-rootkit, data theft protection, privacy
protection and PC2Mobile scan.

Kailash Katkar, CEO, Quick Heal Technologies said, "With PC2Mobile scan
technology, users will have added advantage of scanning and cleaning their
mobile phones, PDAs and smart phones. Users will no longer have to send their
