New Delhi: Quint has come up with a performance-based service management (PBSM) solution in India. This is based on a methodology which will enable organizations to use their existing staff and resources to showcase progress in business performance in a particular time frame.
Organizations across verticals working with Quint on PBSM will undergo a 'Quint Quest' to identify and pinpoint specific actionable improvements which they desire to achieve in less than one month time frame. Based on the identified improvement areas, Quint's PBSM methodology will design a measurable, results-oriented approach improving the IT performance of the organization.
Hans van Herwaarden, CEO, Quint Wellington Redwood said, “You will be able to implement our solutions in half the time typical for such efforts, and make the fee for Quint fully dependent on your measurable success.”
At the launch in India, Sunil Mehta, Country Manager, Quint India commented, “We are glad to introduce PBSM methodology in India. This will improve IT performance in a way it enhances the overall efficiency and productivity of the organization. We are confident that PBSM will prove to be a boon for Indian organizations in the current economic crisis. With this approach, organizations can optimize on their service management initiatives and demonstrate quicker results, thereby quantifying the value of IT to the business. PBSM helps organizations to effectively handle changes and develop strategies in a constantly evolving environment.”
“Our PBSM consulting experience with a large global industrial maintenance organization resulted in reducing the number of critical incidents by more than 50 percent, while in another engagement the Central Bureau of Statistics was able to reduce the time it takes the service desk to resolve issues drastically by up to 66 percent reduction,” he claimed.
