Rashi to run service and training camps

Rashi Peripherals plans to roll out service and training camps for service
engineers to help them equip better in serving the end users. These camps are
scheduled to run in four cities including Thane, Sangli, Kolhapur and Goa
between 17th and 23rd January.

Highlighting the importance of such camps, Suresh Pansari, MD, Rashi
Peripherals said, "It's been our endeavour to reach out to the upcountry
partners both in terms of marketing as well as after sales and with training we
are going one step ahead in providing better services to our partners".

The inclusion of training for service engineers is an extension to the
already running service camps that Rashi has been conducting for more than two
years now. The training has been devised so as to cover maximum topics as well
as reach out to maximum number of partners.

Elaborating more on the service camps, Ashok Goenka, Head Support, Rashi
Peripherals said, "We have so far completed the service camps in more than
25 cities in various parts of the country and felt the need to take it forward
combined with hands on training for the service engineers which generally has
not been touched upon".

Some of few selected topics for the training are How to Updating BIOS? Why
BIOS update is necessary for a new CPU?, How to install the pinless CPUs?, How
to make an area Wi-Fi and many more. The training would not only be theoretical
but practical hands on with live products are also scheduled to have a greater
impact.

The participating brands are Asus, Altec Lansing, Jetway and Sony.
Highlighting on these, Goenka further added, "As these brands do not have
off the shelf replacement, are in good demand and are generally bulkier it takes
a much longer time for replacement/repairs we have added these for our
camps".
