Ravichandran is TITA Prez, again

Post campaigning and fighting competition in the recently concluded elections
in Tirupur IT Association (TITA), former President of the association K
Ravichandran, CEO, Jyothi Agencies and Secretary K Babu, CEO, Apex Info Systems
were re-elected as the new President and Secretary, respectively, for the second
term. The other office bearers of the association include K Vallinayagam, CEO,
Computer Sales Center-Treasurer; P Arun, CEO, Primme Computer-VP; R Thiagaraaj,
CEO, Attrib Systems-Joint Secretary. It may be noted that Vallinayagam was
elected without any opposition. The new team would take charge from April 1,
2009.

Out of the 100 members 97 members voted in the election. Lauding the efforts
of the election committee members who made this election a great success by
bringing in huge strength of the dealers for voting, newly-elected President
Ravichandran said,"The first year was full of learning for us. We were able to
work only for eight months due to the formation of the association, lack of
experience and weren't able to do anything practically. We will learn from the
experience and complete the pending activities like training program and expo,
which has been delayed due to various reasons."
