Reliance Comm and UTStarcom launch Mobile Pocket PC

UTStarcom and Reliance Communications announced the launch of India's first
CDMA Windows Mobile 5.0 pocket PC - PPC 6700 'Reliance Mobile Pocket PC'.
The multi-functional service with data and video transmission capabilities of up
to 144 kbps, with average download speed ranging from 60-80 kbps, on high-speed
Reliance Communications network, is targeted at the enterprise segment and
executives on the move.

PPC 6700, is a compact, feature-packed PDA phone running on Windows Mobile
5.O sporting a slide-out text keyboard, and triple radios: CDMA EV-DO ready,
Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. Other key features include a 1.3 mega pixel camera with
video capture, miniSD card slot, touch screen, speakerphone, and the full suite
of Windows Mobile 5.0 software. The 'Reliance Mobile Pocket PC' is available
through Reliance Communication's business sales channels, with servicing
capabilities across eight cities in India.
