Reliance offers BITOAA free calls and connections

Reliance Infocomm has approached the Bhoj Information Technology and Office
Automation Association (BITOAA), Bhopal and offered its members 200-300
connections. The company has placed a proposal through which they are willing to
offer the members of the association with as many connections to enable them to
make calls free of charge to each other. The services will also be extended to
the staff within the organization.

Confirming the same, Asish Jain, President BITOAA said, "Reliance has
come up with a proposal wherein the company is willing to offer 200-300
connections to the association members that will enable them to make free of
charge calls. However the proposal is still under consideration and we discussed
the same during the association's annual general meeting."

He also added that buying these connections will enable them to remain in
touch as and when required. "In the IT business dealers need to be aware
about all the happenings and information. This free of charge call concept will
help us to communicate uninterruptedly," suggested Jain.

In addition to the above, the association has been taking various issues
pertaining to the dealer community and discussed the same in its first annual
general meeting (AGM) held on 27th October in Bhopal.

During the meeting the association discussed several issues troubling the
dealers. The members have resolved to meet the representative of Bhopal
government and try and get rid of the entry tax that has recently been increased
by one percent in Bhopal which has forced them to increase the prices of various
IT products and peripherals in turn.

Apart from this, payment problems existing between dealers, was also raised
and the association discussed ways to get sponsorship for events hosted by them
as well. "We keep organizing a number of events and will thus approach OEM
and other vendors to sponsor them. The companies will thus be able to give
product demonstrations during these events and it will further enhance our
relationship with each other," stated Jain.

The association also unveiled its new logo during the meeting and discussed
procedures to be followed while assisting Microsoft in their anti-piracy drive.
