Sahara Computers announces Christmas scheme for channel partners

Bangalore: Channel partners of Sahara Computers and Electronics stand to
benefit from the festive scheme, which will run the entire month of December.

Under the scheme, the partners stand to gain a certain number of points on
selling Sahara notebooks. On achieving the fixed target, the points can be
redeemed in lieu of gifts such as laser printers and 7mega-pixel digital
cameras.

The scheme is specially focused and designed for Sahara's upcoming partners
in B&C category cities. According to George Van Der Merwe, COO of Sahara
Computers, "We have announced the Christmas scheme as a gesture for
acknowledging the hard work and efforts shown by our channel partners. In
addition to motivating and boosting the morale of our partners, it would also
add to their joy and festivity in Christmas and New Year."

In addition to schemes that provide gifts and monetary benefits to the
channel, Sahara also carries out a number of below-the-line activities to bring
awareness in the people for PC usage. Sahara Computer Caravans, the mobile van
and bus initiatives, and organizing road shows across the country are some
examples of such activities.
