Sahara Computers begins mega carnival

New Delhi: As a part of an initiative to increase the PC penetration in
India, Sahara Computers and Electronics (SCEL), is organising mega carnivals
across India. This carnival would also complement other initiatives taken by
Sahara Computers to increase the PC awareness amongst the people.

The awareness campaign, which comprises of Carnivals, is being organised all
across India and the schemes floated by Sahara Computers would benefit the
consumers in many ways. On one hand, it would be informative for the end user
and provide them with a wide range of notebooks to choose from; and on the other
hand, it would benefit the existing users with the attractive exchange offers on
their laptops. The company has also introduced zero percent finance scheme on
selective notebooks.

The road shows and carnivals are being organised to provide a platform for an
easy and direct communication between the channel partners and the customers.
These road shows would give opportunities to partners to interact directly with
the end users and understand their needs while also educating customers on the
various aspects of PC usage.

Sahara Computers and Intel together had organised similar awareness campaigns
for UP region, early this November. Based on the response in the Western and
Eastern UP carnival, Sahara Computers extended the campaign to a national level.

"The nation wide carnival is part of our initiative to educate and offer
world class services to our customers. This initiative will further help us to
go closer to the customer and address their queries directly," said George
Van Der Merwe, COO, Sahara Computers and Electronics "Through these road
shows we are also providing the platform to our channel partners to come closer
to the end users and learn about their requirements," he further added.

Through these road shows, the customers would avail the benefit of
on-the-spot bookings and other lucrative schemes on the various machines offered
by Sahara Computers.
