The SMB segment and major government projects gave Sai Infosystems the
required push to register a solid growth of 67 percent. This not only
established the SP as a leader in Ahmedabad but also helped it score over its
counterparts across the country
In 2007-2008, Sai Infosystems clocked revenue of Rs 262 crore, which is a 67
percent growth over the previous year's turnover of Rs 157 crore.
A highlight for the year was Sai's successful achievement of the ISO 27001
certification, which is the only auditable international standard, which defines
the requirements for an information security management system to ensure the
selection of adequate and proportionate security controls.
Last fiscal, the company undertook an Intranet project along with voice over
IP-using Call Manager solution and 200 IP phones-for the Commercial Tax
Department Rajasthan State Government where it offered Intranet connectivity
with 32 district offices at 114 remote locations-each with either 512Kbps or
2Mbps links and linking them to the State Data Center in Jaipur.
It also implemented an e-procurement project for MTNL, which is a single
window solution to reach out to customers effectively. Security implementation
measures like DR, NIDS and EMS were some other achievements for Sai.
