Samsung re-launches the $-DOLLAR program

After the success of 'The $-DOLLAR Program' launched by Samsung India Electronics Ltd (SIEL) for its reseller and system integrator
(SI) fraternity, the company has decided to re-launch this program with better and easier incentives. The new
program is titled 'The Return of the SAMSUNG $-DOLLAR'.

The program is meant for the SI and valid from June 9 to August 7, 2004 is applicable on Samsung monitors, hard disk drives
(HDD) and optical media storage (OMS) products. Each time a SI/reseller purchases Samsung
products from a Samsung Star Elite or Storage Preferred Partner (SSPP), the SI will be issued a cheque. The cheque will be of one of the four colors white,
blue, silver, and gold depending upon the products bought.

The cheques have a pre-defined value called the $AMSUNG DOLLARS that can be converted into rupees as per the
SamsungXchange rate to be announced later. 

The rate will vary with each block of four pre-defined rates. The variation is as per the mean temperature in the four metro towns. The dollars can
be redeemed from any Samsung Star Elite/SSPP partner. Each cheque is addition to having a unique value also has a scratch card portion. This gives
you an opportunity to immediately win great gifts from Samsung including TV 

sets,air conditioners, mobile phones and microwave ovens.

A 'White Magic Cheque' with a value of $D 100 is issued on the sale of two 15" monitors OR 12 units CD ROM Drives OR 4 units 40 GB HDD
<5400RPM/7200RPM>. A 'Blue Magic Cheque' with a value of $D 150 is issued on the sale of two 17" monitors or eight units CDRW, Combo, DVD Rom or
four units of the sub-40 GB HDD. Similarly, a 'Silver Magic Cheque' with a value of $D 200 can be availed on the sale of two units each of 15" monitors,
CDR and 40 GB HDDs. The Gold Magic has a value of $D 300 and is issued with a sale of two units each of 17" monitors, RW and sub040 GB
HDD.
