Sanat Technologies to tap mid-market

Chennai: Sanat Technologies has launched new series of data storage
solutions. According to V Ramani, Country Manager-Marketing and Sales, Sanat
Technologies, about 40 installations have been completed in six months since the
launch. "All the major vendors are using Windows Storage Server, whereas we
have used firmware and have developed solution on a Linux-based system, which
could run or can be accessed through any operating systems. This solution comes
with an automated backup software, which can be directly stored from the
desktop," he added. The company also announced the launch of new range of data
storage models, which include NAS and IPSAN models solutions with StorOS
firmware with a capacity of 40TB.

"We have proposed to tap the mid-market and SMBs on a war footing, as there
is a huge demand for storage in these markets. We, along with our channel have
to carry an integrated approach for deploying more number of projects," he
added.

Sanat Technologies has installed its projects in various cities of India and
plans to set-up its offices in Delhi and Mumbai by Q1, 2008. The company has
roped in six partners across the country thus far. The company plans to appoint
10 more partners by the end of 2007.

Sanat Technologies is also providing automated backup facility as an optional
value-added service for the customers. On the road ahead, Sanat Technologies
would focus on developing solutions for replication of data, data retrieval and
archival, besides data migration.
