Savex to distribute Acer monitors nationally

Acer India announced that it has signed Savex Computers as its national distributor for monitor segment.

Capitalizing on the expertise of Savex Computers to address the growing business volumes in the monitor market in the B, C and D-class cities, Acer plans to scale its operations to the next level. With over 40 sales offices in India, the tie-up with Savex Computers is designed to increase access and provide additional resources for Acer's channel network.

Savex Computers has a cost-effective and finely tuned logistics operation, using specialized regional transporters that will further help Acer increase its bandwidth and availability of its LCD monitors across India.

S Rajendran, Chief Marketing Officer, Acer India said, “The tie-up with Savex Computers is a testimony to our flourishing monitor business in India. Our widescreen monitor business has grown dramatically in the last one year, almost doubling our marketshare. We hope to continue this growth trend through H2 2008 as well.”
