Siemens partners Satyam

Siemens PLM Software, a provider of product lifecycle management (PLM)
software and services, and Satyam Computer Services announced a global
consulting and systems integrator alliance to provide optimized PLM software and
services to help customers enhance efficiency and topline growth. The alliance
will enable clients to benefit from Satyam's global domain expertise, combined
with Siemens PLM technology.

“This alliance with Satyam will enhance the ability of both organizations
to deliver PLM products and services to customers in critical industries,”
said John Graham, Executive VP-Global Sales and Services, Siemens PLM
Software. “It will also enhance our focus on non-traditional verticals and
geographies and bring the benefit of PLM to these customers,” he added.

The companies will use PLM technology to create focused solutions for the
chemical, oil and gas, and industrial machinery industries. Collaborating on
aligned sales, marketing, and delivery strategies will enable the companies to
more efficiently bring PLM solutions to their global customer base including
those in the focus industries.
