Sirvisetti to release AppTalk 5.x version in '05

Sirvisetti Systems, a business automation software products and solutions company, is gearing up to release the new version of its flagship product, AppTalk in the first quarter of the next year. The company is also adding various modules like
AutoFax, RFID support, wireless support and others to the product to make it more reliable and effective.

Giving details about the new version, Sirvisetti Systems' CEO, Amal Sirvisetti said, “The new version will have more functionality. Primarily, it is fine-tuned as per the OASIS standards and is based on the Service over Architecture
(SOA) Blueprint. It will support new web services to exchange reliable messaging service between companies.”

He further informed that modules such as AutoStream for content and document distribution already exist with the AppTalk platform, but more modules such as
AutoFax, would be enabled to the new version. 

According to Sirvisetti, the company is neither inclined to particular geographies as far as customer base is concerned nor horizontal centric.

“Our product platform caters to verticals as varied as transport, pharma and healthcare. This could be customized as per customers' requirements. Also it's not something like a SCM or
CRM. It is an Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) and a B2B integration service designed from an SOA paradigm,” he elaborated.

POINTS TO REMEMBER WHILE DEVELOPING OPEN SOURCE APPLICATIONS
· You should have the domain knowledge of business verticals where you can create the applications 

· Understand client requirements, to know the objective behind the deployment and how you facilitate it

· Ensure you have the technical skillsets before you get into the project

· Make sure it is legacy system compatible and has ease of integration to allow it to be used with a wide range of application development tools
