Soft-AID launches visitor management software

Pune-based Soft-AID Computers has launched a visitor management software
called Lobbytech suitable for small and medium offices. The software is suitable
for monitoring and managing flow of visitors, be it a corporate office,
government offices or schools. It also generates visitor badges with photo
identity.

Lobbytech is actually a stripped-down version of its existing enterprise
grade software called Enterprise Security Management (ESM). Soft-AID has been
selling ESM for the last five years for managing visitors of large complexes.

"However, many companies may not require the entire package and hence,
we came up with this stripped-down version that focuses only on the visitor
management part," says Amol Deshpande, Director, Soft-AID Computers.

While Lobbytech takes care of only the visitor management part, the
enterprise version has modules like key management, returnable products
management and guard tour management also.

Lobbytech comes with an user-friendly interface and can be easily used by
security personnel who may not be computer savvy. It is priced at Rs 2,500 and
can also be purchased online from the company website for $49. The company is
also exploring the channel route for selling this product. Currently, it has
already held talks with few channel partners, but has not finalized any tie-up
yet.
