What are the challenges of being a woman CEO?

Whether you are a woman or a man I feel the challenges are the same for any entrepreneur slow sales, unpredictable business conditions, competition etc. it's the same situation everywhere. It is just that work hard and build towards a strong team and don't ever give up easily.

Educational Background
Nidhi is a graduate in English literature. She entered into business in 1998. Her motto in life is 'sometimes I win , sometimes I learn' and has been a constant learner or rather a 'learner on the job'.

Family Background
Her husband, Aashsih Sehgal, who is a graduate in electronics engineering, heads the Faridabad branch. A blessed mother to a teenage daughter Dhaarna, who studies in 8th Standard, she works from 10 am to 10 pm .

Working in male-dominated field of IT
Nidhi has been in this field since last 16 years and have never felt out of place . In her own words, "this industry gives me my bread and butter. We are here to work and ultimately the work speaks for you . It doesn't matter whether you are a man or a woman. So, I prefer calling myself an entrepreneur who is a woman."

Does a Glass ceiling exist?
There is no glass ceiling that exists for Nidhi. She has worked extremely hard to be at the helm of the affairs and remains very committed. "People who complain about glass ceiling should keep in mind that glass can be shattered if one strikes it hard enough and long enough." says Nidhi confidently.

Advice to working women:
"We as working women really have to master the trade of balancing work and home. If you can master this balancing act perfectly , the ride is smooth sailing. I think it is very important to be focused . If the ride is going to be bumpy , do not get distracted. Have vision and passion , if you believe in something other people will too .

Hobbies:
Love anchoring shows . Reading anything from newspapers to encyclopedias to biographies.......
