SonicWall appoints Redington as national disti

SonicWall has appointed Redington (India) as its national value-added
distributor.

PS Neogi, President, Redington (India) said, “As a value-added distributor,
Redington needed a product that will add value to our current product portfolio.
We see SonicWall's product line further strengthening our presence in the
security market. Our mandate will be to engage in market development acti­vity
in the initial months. We foresee revenues of about Rs 7 crore in the next nine
months of the fiscal year 2007-08. The next phase of growth will be fuelled
further after this tie-up.”

Shubhomoy Biswas, Country Manager-India and SAARC, SonicWall said, “The
market has grown for security appliances in leaps and bounds. The volume per
customer has increased along with the marketplace acceptance and trust for
SonicWall products. We are excited with this tie-up as the potential is very
high. SonicWall will deliver products and solutions for comprehensive net­work
and e-mail security, secure remote access, and conti­nuous data protection.”

SonicWall and Redington will jointly conduct many seminars and events to help
educate and make resellers and end-users aware of UTM, Sonic­Wall's technology
capabi­lities and support initiatives.
