SonicWALL appoints Taarak as its national distributor

SonicWALL, the world leader in Unified Threat Management (UTM) solutions,
recently announced the appointment of a New Delhi- based distributor, Taarak
India as its national distributor. Taarak will distribute SonicWALL's recently
launched SonicWALL e-mail security range of security appliances and software.

Prior to its appointment by SonicWALL, Taarak was the distributor of
MailFrontier e-mail security technology. In May, SonicWALL announced the
international launch of its new e-mail security product set, developed as a
result of its Mailfrontier acquisition on February 9, 2006.

Taarak will be SonicWALL's third national distributor in India. Select
Technologies distributes the full range of SonicWALL products, including UTM
firewalls, SSL-VPN devices, e-mail security technology, software and
subscription services. IT Secure will distribute all lines of SonicWALL products
except SonicWALL e-mail security.

Harish Tyagi, CEO, Taarak said, “Our existing knowledge of this technology
combined with our relationships with channel partners and customers will help
SonicWALL's rapid expansion in this space. With powerful enhancements and
must-have features, SonicWALL's e-mail security product line has managed to
attract the attention of a lot of partners and we expect this to be a runaway

SonicWALL today has more than 75 Medallion Partners and resellers in India.
Taarak's partnership will further help SonicWALL consolidate its lead in the
security appliance market.
