SonicWall's Asia-Pacific Sales Director, Antony Chapman said, "We
would continue our focus on the SME segment but we are planning to strongly
focus on retail, hospitality, education and managed service providers. Dispersed
networks are our strength and so we fit these verticals very well."

The company is looking at 100% growth in India this year and is quite upbeat
about its subscription services, which are on the rise, especially since the

According to Antony, the company's channel structure, be it expansion or
restructuring, is always an ongoing process and SonicWall is planning to
consolidate its channel. IT Secure, which is currently the vendor's national
distributor, has around 51 channel partners appointed as Silver Medallion
partners. "Our ongoing goal is to increase the skills of our partners, and
continue to build strength into our channel," said Antony.
