Sony introduces 'Burn-N-Blast' program for DVD writers in India

Sony Electronics announced the 'Burn-n-Blast' program on its DVD Burners
in India through its national distributor, Rashi Peripherals. On purchasing two
Internal Sony DVD writers, customers will get one set of Altec Lansing AVS 200
speakers worth Rs 550 free. The program will be valid on all the purchases made
from 11th October to 31st October 2005.

Vincent Chang, Regional Account Manager, Sony Singapore, said, "Sony
already is a leading player in the ODD segment in India market and we plan to
further increase our DVD market share in India". Hemvardhan Shah, Product
Manager-Sony at Rashi Peripherals further elaborated, "This program will
ensure not only more profitability to our channels but also make them more
confident to promote Sony DVD burners".
