Sony introduces Industrial Cameras

New Delhi: Sony has introduced the latest additions to its successful EVI series with two latest models, EVI-HD3V and EVI-HD7V, which are ideal for industrial use with pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) capabilities. The EVI-HD3V and EVI-HD7V are second generation high-definition (HD) industrial cameras from Sony that are designed to produce excellent life-like HD images of up to 720p/60 and 1080p/60 respectively.

"Riding on Sony's phenomenal standing as a leader in HD technology, we had first introduced the EVI-HD1 to great success in 2007. Today, in answer to the increasing demand in Asia Pacific for HD solutions, especially for video conferencing purposes, Sony is launching the second generation all-in-one HD robotic cameras-EVI-HD3V and EVI-HD7V, both of which are equipped with the series' renowned low-noise pan/tilt mechanism while maintaining ease of use and offering flexibility to its users," Hirano further added.

Aimed at meeting the global market's increased demand of HD solutions, the EVI-HD3V and EVI-HD7V have been created to provide flexibility to users by offering multiple formats from standard-definition (SD) to full HD in order to achieve natural and smooth video images.
