The focus for the company in FY10 was on expanding geographically (forming a 100 percent subsidiary in Netherlands and forming a special venture OSPL

in Singapore in tie-up with Japan's Sanwell), leveraging on offerings like RIM services, virtual CIO solutions and managing the printing operations for US customers. Omnitech was also in the process of setting up six more datacenters across India, Singapore and Mauritius in addition to its existing centers in Mumbai and Hyderabad. Entering into newer tie ups with approximately 25 small and medium vendors, Omnitech plans to expand their channel networks as well.

By launching the disaster center at Hydreabd, Omnitech became India's first company to have a multi location disaster recovery centers. This resulted in the growth contribution of services to 76 percent and expanded EBITDA margins to 33 percent. It is also proud to announce that it has completed one joint venture in far east and opened a wholly subsidiary in Netherlands in order to cater Europen market as well. In line with its strategy, the main focus area of Omnitech is to adopt the best global standards and practices alongside the revenue and profitability aims, which includes defined targets on capability building and attending next level of certifications. The overall contribution of the verticals including government, education, SOHO, IT, ITeS contributes 21 percent to the overall revenue of Omnitech.

Some of the other highlights of the company came in the form of being awarded as the Best SME for corporate governance 2009 by Business Today. According to Hemani, their major growth drivers for next FY would be RIMS and disaster recovery and business continuity planning services. They also plan to open third disaster recovery centers at strategic locations in the country to continue to leverage and maintain a market leader position.
