Stellar unifies its data recovery solutions for channel

Stellar Information Systems, a provider of data recovery solutions under the Phoenix brand, has come out with a unified solutions for the channel. Called the Stellar Phoenix Recovery Suite, the integrated box is a combination of file and partition recovery utilities that support all major Windows and Linux platforms.

A single unified box cost Rs 19,550 with support for up to 25 users. This suite can recover data from Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/2003/XP, Linux (all distributions) and CD Rom (ISO 9660 and Joliet--all distributions).

According to Sunil Chandna, CEO, the Phoenix Recovery Suite will be sold through its existing 20 value-added national partners. The company has also revealed its plan to increase its partner base in the current financial year.

"As a sales strategy, Stellar has streamlined its corporate license for Phoenix products to match the need of SMEs to large business with options of 25/50 /100/250/500-user license and site license with unlimited users," says Sunil.

The commercial license of Phoenix product line is for companies who wish to render data recovery services to their clientele on commercial basis. According to Sunil, the target prospects for Stellar are software integrators, small software solution providers and third-party vendors having AMC contracts with their clients.
