Sterling Infoways on an expansion spree

Gurgaon-based Sterling Infoways, primarily known for its structured fiber
optic, security, storage and maintenance solutions, is on an expansion spree.
The company will be expanding in the north region and is all set to open offices
in Ludhiana and Chandigarh by the end of September. This apart the company will
also be opening branch offices in Jaipur and will foray into the eastern markets
by opening an office in Kolkata and down south in Bangalore and Chennai. While
the south market will see the company offer support facilities, in Kolkata the
company plans to further Lenovo products.

Informing about the same, Rajesh Kalra, CEO, Sterling Infoways said, "An
increase in revenue figures and recent tie ups has bolstered the plan and once
the new branches are in place the company will ensure that they achieve 15
percent growth target they have set themselves for the next fiscal."

Sterling Infoways had moved a step further in their business plans this
fiscal and was appointed as the national distributor for IBM for its Support
Services Packs for desktops, peripherals and notebook accessories in the month
of June. In addition the company had also tied up with McAfee for providing
security solutions.

While the company is focusing on increasing the number of channel partners by
the next fiscal, the IBM collaboration will see them add considerable number of
people to their team as they are expanding in the security storage area.

In addition, Kalra informed that the company had developed a website called
thinkessentials.com dedicated to providing option accessories and support
packages for Lenovo. This was essentially an e-commerce website with the help of
Lenovo. With the website already in place the company is looking forward to
advertise it further and bring in more customers on a national basis.
