Noida: While starting its business of UPS systems and computer peripherals eight years back, Supreme global targeted Rs 100 crore revenue in FY 2009-10 and is all set to achieve the same. The company which belongs to Agarwal Group based in Noida, with other interests in Logistics and Printing and Publishing business, is being run by Ajay and Anil Agarwal, who are the Directors of the company.
Past experience in OEM business of consumer electronics has helped the company develop its OEM business for UPS systems in India. "Today we are largest OEM suppliers of offline UPS in the country with state-of-the-art dedicated manufacturing facilities in China,"Â said Ajay.
"This was a unique composition, supplying UPS systems to various OEM customers from manufacturing base at China taking advantage of cost and quality edge and providing after-sales support locally in India by our Indian infrastructure,"Â shared Ajay, who attributed this to the company's unprecedented growth.
Further talking about the UPS business Ajay said, "After becoming leaders in offline UPS business, our focus is now on the online UPS, for which we have tied up with global brands like ABLEREX, Taiwan and ASTRID, Italy and are now offering a complete range of online UPS to OEM customers as well as to corporate and institutions."Â
For its PC peripherals, which are branded under the name VAMAA, Supreme Global Trading is expanding its portfolio and reach in the market and is looking to sign up partners in the states it is not present in currently. "We are present in 14 states and are planning to enhance our presence in more states, while expanding our portfolio," said Anil. He further added, "Our direct buying from large manufacturers based in China gives us a price / quality edge and that is the reason we are able to offer PC peripherals at the most competitive price and so are growing fast."Â
The Directors added that the company's target for FY 2009-10 is to touch Rs 100 crore revenue, and with the kind of growth they have been achieving YoY, in spite of economic slowdown, and the way they are expanding their portfolio and reach, they are all set to achieve the same.
