Symantec unifies security management

will unify information
security management across endpoints, gateways and servers, and
deliver targeted protection for the enterprises with the release of
new Symantec Protection Suites. The new Protection Suite solutions
would be available this summer. These are expected to alleviate
challenges of security administrators and bring in simplicity and
in-depth protection across the enterprise infrastructure.

The foundation of each of the new
Protection Suites will be Symantec Protection Center, that provides
administrators full access to configuration management, report
generation and dashboard views of the multiple Symantec protection
technologies relevant to each suite. Symantec Protection Center will
simplify security information management with consolidated access to
threat, security and operational dashboards and reporting.With
real-time access to the Symantec Global Intelligence Network,
operations teams will benefit from single console access to
Symantec's global security threat database and market-leading
endpoint, server, gateway and data loss prevention solutions.

consolidated access to security infrastructure management and
reporting, along with the drag and drop workflow capabilities, will

Two add-on options for hosted email and
web security from Symantec Hosted Services will bring the power of
cloud computing to Symantec Protection Suite users, giving them the
flexibility and choice to deploy both on-site and hosted technologies
depending on their business needs.
