Known for providing the right need-based solutions with technology at the
backbone Syntech, formed in the year 2000, went on to form a group of companies
in 2004
Among the most promising and fastest growing companies from East India,
Syntech Group of Companies has been in the limelight since its inception. Known
as Syntech Group, the individual companies under the group function
independently with business specializations been internally assigned to the
respected companies.
Starting off with a whirlwind growth, the company mellowed down its pace on a
later phase. Although with a growth rate of 26 percent for the last fiscal, it
continued to hold its position as a premier solution provider in the IT
industry.
Starting off as a core IT and ITeS service and solution providing company,
Syntech took a major leap last year with the introduction of its own brand PCs
called Isyn. The company with its consolidated plans for national expansion has
exceeded the boundaries of East and has successfully opened several branches
across India during the 2005-06 financial year. With the modernization of the
existing PC integration factory, Syntech has its plans chalked out to introduce
more state-of-the-art factories in the coming days.

With a vast list of clientele comprising various sectors including,
government, large corporate houses, SME and home segment Syntech has delivered
some noteworthy projects as well. Among some of its major achieved feats,
mention worthy are computerization in several engineering colleges along with
accomplishment of different projects in sectors like, govt of West Bengal,
Southeastern Railway, Coal India, Dept of Cultural Affairs, Tata Group, Zee
Interactive, banking automation services, Simplex, SAIL, CMC Ltd, school
education and defense, to name a few.
Taking its present business ratio format, Syntech has its revenue generated
from various divisions. The company earns 38 percent from government sales, 27
percent from corporate sector, 16 percent from channel sales, 10 percent from IT
services and nine percent from its various other business modes, respectively.
Along with its existing tie-ups with the leading principal companies, Syntech
also entered a strategic tie-up with Imation as media distributor for the
formers product lines.
With a vision to expand globally, Syntech etched out a unique mode of
business diversification recently. Having bagged the license to operate FM radio
stations across West Bengal, the company is due to witness some interesting
moves as an IT company as it has further plans to introduce varied business
lines combined with new genre of product lines.
